Book Sale Rules

1. The use of cell phones, personal digital assistants, electronic scanning devices and other electronic devices is NOT allowed at any time during the sale.

2. Stock piling books at any time during the sale day is NOT allowed. If you place a book in your boxes or carriers it is considered purchased.

These rules are established to provide fair access to available books by those Friends Members who donate books to the sale and those who volunteer to assist at library programs and events.

Donations in the book bin in the foyer at the Branch are always welcome.  The “Friends” (a 501.c.3 charitable organization) are extremely grateful for these generous donations.  Book Sales are the main source of revenue for special library activities such as the summer reading program, author visits, collection additions, and other special events not included in the library budget.  100% of monies raised in book sales are used for these purposes.

Please note:  if you plan to drop off more than five boxes of books at one time, please call the library in advance so that our volunteers can make special arrangements for picking up the books.
