Friends of Three Creeks Library will sell
donated used books to the public in the
Meeting Room of Three Creeks Community Library, 800 N.E. Tenney Road, Vancouver, WA, between 10:00 a.m. and
5:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010. There will be a
members-only preview sale between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Friends of Three Creeks
Library memberships can be purchased at the door – Seniors
$3.00, Individuals $5.00, Families $7.00.
A large selection of books is available for purchase at this
sale – genre include: biographies, non-fiction, travel,
religion, fiction, mystery, romance, self-help, children’s,
science fiction, western, health, cooking, garden, sports,
computers, reference. Most books are in excellent condition.
Prices are $0.50 for standard paperbacks,
and $1.00 for hardbound and trade publications. 100% of
monies raised are used for special library programs and
collection additions.

Book Sale Rules
1. The use of cell phones, personal digital assistants,
electronic scanning devices and other electronic devices is
NOT allowed at any time during the sale.
2. Stock piling books at any time during the sale day is NOT
allowed. If you place a book in your boxes or carriers it is
considered purchased.
These rules are established to provide fair access to
available books by those Friends Members who donate books to
the sale and those who volunteer to assist at library
programs and events.
Donations in
the book bin in the foyer at the Branch are always
welcome.
The
“Friends” (a 501.c.3 charitable organization) are
extremely grateful for these generous donations. Book
Sales are the main source of revenue for special library
activities such as the summer reading program, author
visits, collection additions, and other special events
not included in the library budget. 100% of monies
raised in book sales are used for these purposes.
Please note: if you plan to drop off more than
five boxes of books at one time, please call the library in
advance so that our volunteers can make special arrangements
for picking up the books.
